does the navy have anything like the AF combat conrollers?

i was just about to sign for the AF combat controller role, but in my heart i knew the navy was where i wanted to be so didn't sign, is there anything similar in the navy to that job? you learn a valuable skill but also are more front lines?

and please no "if you want front lines join the army or marines answers!"

i want atc more than most, like aviation fields in general, scored high enough on my asvab to take any job, was even offered nuc!
