Coast Guard Delayed Entry Program?

I'm a senior in high school and i graduate in 2 months on May 31. I want to join the Coast Guard but I haven't signed up yet because I don't want to leave right after graduation. I was hoping to leave in September sometime. If I choose to sign now will I get to still enter the Delayed Entry Program and not leave until September even though I'm a senior about to graduate?
