Coast Guard Gunner's Mate questions.?

I'm thinking of joining the Coast Guard and am interested in the Gunner's Mate rating. I've got a couple questions before I talk to a recruiter(There is only one in all of Arizona):

Is GM a guaranteed school, or how likely is it get it?

I can't seem to find a straight answer on the Delayed Entry Program. Is there a waiting list, and if so how long? Is it dependent on what rating you want?

And can I requst where I am stationed?
