how can i get community service hours and volunteer work with my situation? HELP?

im in ninth grade and want to start doing community service and volunteer work but my mom wont let me...i dont know what to do...my other friends are making plans and are working while i stay at home. I cant drive anywhere and my only transportation is my mom. I dont feel like i will get into a good college because i don't do any extracurricular activities b/c my mom is keeping me...im stuck...
