Community service is a waste of time?

Some guy smashed a bottle over my head a couple of years ago because I am a cross-dresser. A policeman saw him doing it and he got charged and sentenced to community service but he didn't even bother to turn up for it!!!

I think community service is a waste of time because if they don't turn up for it, in which case they can be fined, and even if they don't pay they fine, they can be imprisoned. The local prison here is a like a holiday camp, going there doesn't bother people a bit because they have playstations and DVD players and stuff. What do you think?
Rick R - Everyone in the Highland area knows that the local prison Porterfield in Inverness is like a holiday camp. No I have never been there but I've known people who have been there.
