| My dog was running 40 or so on a 15 mph highway. Will he get his license... ...revoked? Jailtime? Community service? I was cruising town the other day, just taking a stroll with my dog. Next thing I knew, saw a speed-limit radar sign up. The kind with the giant LED lights that tell you how fast you are going? All I know is my dog took off in that direction, probably chasing a rabbit or something, & was clocked at 40 MPH. The thing is, this was a 15 MPH section, & it is illegal to break the speed limit. Was wondering what happens when someone goes 25 MPH over the speed limit? Do the get fined? Jailed? Community service? License revoked? I know the law applies to humans, but I can never seem to get my dog to understand the importance of ONLY going 15 MPH at certain sections of town. He seems to think he can just fly around anywhere, doing whatever kind of speed limit he wants. I tried talking to him, time outs, corner time... No avail. Fido just won't listen. What do I do? |
