can I apply to be a police officer if I go to school for community and

justice services(corrections?)? hello, I need specific answers please.

I will be attending a 2 year college program (community and justice services) in the fall 2008. I am a 38 year old female (bi-racial) I wanted to know what would be the best in terms of police departments to look into ex: Toronto ,Vancouver, and what about NYPD or LAPD? Thank you for all serious answers

does my age make a difference? by the time I will finish college?
