Community Service Confirmation?

The agency I did community service for has recently come under investigation. I started there two years ago, they only came under investigation this year. Can the person who is supposed to verify my hours (at the place where I received the time card) allowed to threaten not to count any of them?Ok, Nightrider, I'd think with your top contributor status in legal fields that you'd know this: the place where I got the time card isn't the same as the agency where I did my hours. Maybe that's different from county to county. The agency I mentioned is where I did my hours, the people there signed off on them, but the volunteer center (the separate place where I was issued my time card to take to a suitable community service agency) needs to contact said agency to verify my hours.The person at that volunteer center is who threatened not to count any of my hours that were signed by the agency.

As you are stating this, of course not. If you worked your time, it would be verified not just by the agency personnel but also the people you worked for doing the community service.Something very large is missing in the middle of this picture here though.You start out with an agency going under investigation. Then you jump to a person threatening not to allow credit for the time you worked.At face value, none of this is related to each other in the slightest. What you describe is nothing more than blackmail but something else is going on here. Only you can be the best judge of that.Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you
