| Community Service?
A friend and I got in some trouble earlier this year and will likely be assigned to several hours of community service. However, a lot of opportunities need an adult escort if you're under 16 which is likely not possible for our circumstances. My friend is 15, I'm 17, and we would like to do work together - preferably with animals, the outdoors or people.
It would be easiest to do it for our own neighborhood, but the only thing we could likely do is remove/paint over any graffiti if the state would give us the supplies or try to see if the local fire department could give us a job.
Anyone know of a place or website to find opportunities for community service that has divisions on age groups?
I've already looked at http://www.volunteermatch.org/.
And our search is specifically restricted the Colorado Springs/El Paso County area in Colorado, no further.
