How to stop my family members from accessing my computer over network?

Ok so I got this problem... One day my sis opened I tunes in her computer and she told me she could access my songs which were on my computer. Now that was freaky. What if she had seen my adult stuff

. So my question to you is there anyway that I can protect others from accessing my computer over network. Please list them.
