| Changing Computer on Home Network?
I have a desktop computer (#1) which has a cable internet connection and is also connected to a wireless router. We have several networked computers in the house which connect wirelessly through the router. I need to switch out the desktop (#1) with a newer one. If I just re-run the router installation program on the new computer will I be able to retain the same encryption key and network name etc or do I need to start again from scratch? If so, how do I "delete" the old network from all the computers? All computers are running Windows XP.

You should be able to add the computer as a "new" member without too much trouble. The same key should work on the new one as it did on the old one if you take pains to preserve that key first. Starting from scratch on that one machine is probably a good idea to be sure you don't short-cut yourself into oblivion.
