Shouldnt parents give credit when it's due?

My cousin ran off and was found earlier. My mom and i were having a conversation about it,and she said"well,you havent ran away,YET"

I've never even thought about running away....she tells me i'm bad for being lazy and being a smartass all the time. but she never appreciates what I'm not out doing.

I've never touched a drug or had sex.

Shouldnt she atleast be thankful for that?
