freelance graphic design in my spare time. need to start taking credit cards-?

i've been freelancing in my spare time. people have been paying me fairly well, but i'm not breaking the bank (pays for gas...and beer). people have always paid me in checks, money orders or beer, but some new clients would like to start paying me with credit cards. guess i gotta report this, and i'm sure buying quicken will be involved. i'm just not sure where to start.
