Maybe I gave Holland too much credit?

Nothing much doing? They have weaknesses. I thought for sure that Holland would address them with a gritty forward and a beast Dman.

That said, maybe by the time this is posted, they do something. Otherwise, they are toast again.
Mike- I was just basing it on who would be a good fit.....I thought that Tucker and Foote would be good fits.
Rich....I am not really thinking about the rest of the season, I am thinking about the next season...the play-offs. Let's face it, they are not built for it, of course we have to play the wait and see BUT if they have to play against physical teams (Anaheim), I do not like their chances.
Yep- I am not necessarily talking a big deal, in fact, quite the opposite, they needed some good grinders who can handle the play-off battles. If no deals come in, I give them an F. I really thought Holland would address his issues.......Holmstrom is the only guy who can pay the price in front of the net, Downey is the only one who can fight......doesn't look good.
OH THERE YOU GO- They aqcuired one guy who is exactly the mold I am talking about.............Brad Stuart...he'll help. I knew Holland wasn't that dumb. Might not be enough but it is EXACTLY what I meant...the irony.
Rich......Every team knows the key to beating the Wings is to wear them down physically. The play-offs are a different beast and the Ducks proved it last year.
