Have you ever cashed a Credit Card Convenience Check?

I get those credit card convenience checks in the mail all the time. I have cashed them on occasion to get me over rough spots or when the interest was lower on the deal than what I can get in the bank.

How about you, have you ever cashed one of those credit card conv checks? What was your experince?
