Should LDS university students be allowed to take seminary classes for credit?

Should LDS university students be allowed to take seminary classes for credit?

At my university in Arizona the Latter Day Saints had a church close to the campus and their followers were allowed to take "courses" there for university credit.

Has anyone else ever seen this? Shouldn't it be against the law?
I can't imagine the universities accepting sunday school lessons at any other churches in the area for credit.
