PC start up prob.. Please help i will make sure you get credited?

Hi everyone,

I have Presario v3000 laptop and this prb. have been going on for like 2 weeks now when i start up the laptop the machine startes up but i cant see anyting on the screen means its just not starting up and then when i shut it down remove the battery and poweroulet and wait for 15 sec. and try again it works any suggestions of how i can fix this problem.
