| in my humble opinion, at her age both the men and women are struggling thru menopause and feel self-conscious around another person. If she lived thru the Viet Nam era she knows there are fewer men around who are older than her. She may have to look to younger men to go out with. But the time have changed, and now is the time to save her money because in ten years or more she will probably be retiring. And she may not want to be married when she's on social security. So today's lifestyle is just living with someone, and so she needs to revisit her morals and see if this is what she wants to do, or does she just want to go out to lunch or dinner, and if that's the case she might just prefer to have female friends to shop with, play cards with, go to the theater with in groups. |
