tomorrow is my last day of h/s. any advice?

do you have any advice for me? tomorrow is my last day and i am pretty bummed. i dont know what to do. i am so sad and man.. do you have any words of wisdom? haha also, tell me what u think of my poem please!“Last Day”Brittany EvankoIn the blink of an eye it is finally here. Not wanting to leave, I silently shed a tear,I reach to grab someone’s hand, but they are ready to fly.Not able to face reality, all I am able to do is cry.I have waited years for this day to come,With a blink of an eye, I don’t know where it came from.It is the end if something I have known for so long. They say everything will work its self out, like the lyrics of a song.It is going to be hard to say goodbye to the ones I knew. Not knowing where to go, I let my arm out to reach for you. They say that this is just the beginning and to hold on.Before I knew it, all of my adolescent years are gone. For all of these years I have wanted to grow.Life has been harder then I could have known.I hope that I keep the friends that I hold dear.it is finally the time to grow up; the end of my senior year.

Go around tell everybody you'll miss 'em, and yes even your mean teachers.

I didn't even go to my last day of hs. I was just happy to leave! No need to be sad about it. Find your self a job and enjoy living the adult life!

Your poem is good, but I would work on the rhythm. Try to make sure your syllables match. For instance, in a sonnet, every line is ten syllables long. One trick I use is to read what I've written out loud. When you hear it you mentally edit it. As for advice on graduating, enjoy the celebrations, you're an adult now! I know it's scary, but don't worry, there's not really any such thing as the "real world." Most people are just trying to get by and hoping they don't screw up. Congratulations!

When you go off to college or get a job stay proactive do the things you want to do and like to do and find the jobs that fall in line with those things. Don't let life pass you by and step up to the challenges that your about to face. nothing happens in life that you can't handle. when it gets hard step away from the problem breathe and think and then attack.

A very nice piece and it does express your feelings well.I do feel that there are points of it where the sentence flow creates a wordiness. You may want to revisit some of your lines and edit for structure flow.As to advice as to what to do after leaving your long-term security...stay in school. Take your standard summer vacation off and think about what you wish to create for your future. Your life's path and future is now in your hands, and yes it is very scary. Educate yourself to all the positive possibilities. You may want to even look into some summer job internships.Relax, enjoy and have a safe summer vacation, for come September, College begins. Make your choices wisely, for mistakes made, are choices made.Enjoy your break,Sam
