What do you think the difference is between Rap and Hiphop?

In my opinion, Rap is what is out now, the current choice. Which should be called, an old school word, "BAP!" Hiphop is an expression, a lifestyle, a culture, an art! What's your opinion?LOL I know the 4 elements of hiphop! I want to know what the difference is to you. Not a definition.And yet again, I am looking for opinions, NOT what is on wiki. I want to know what you think it is.

rap is more slang talking in hi-siding and Hiphop is more like music with less slang.

Hip-Hop = MCing (rapping), DJing, urban inspired art/tagging (graffiti), and b-boying (or breakdancing).

I believe rap is more beat and beat boxing with more rhymes and such a coloful language. Hip-hop is more about style, and has less rhymes in it. Plus the language is not so..............strong. Right CCT, because there is no more reliable source than Wikipedia. In fact, Wikipedia is the end all be all regarding any matter. Its practically the law. Rap is a single aspect of hip-hop such as training hard is a single aspect of Karate. That's my opinion on the matter rather than siting Wikipedia (of all sources) as fact.EDIT: That's correct CCT.
