Which country treats people with disability's the worst?

What I mean is the counrty where they or the familey has to fight for their rights, not allowed to work, have fun, make friends, keep things secret not recive benifits and so on.
I would like to see these or this country change its attude towards them and make them happy people as they are in the UK and elsewhere.

Many of the third world countries don't even acknowledge people with disabilities or hide them away.

When I applied for a teaching job in South Africa at a school for the disabled , my friend took my cv to them and the head looked it over and told my friend that I was lying about my credentials, that no accreditted university would graduate a blind person. This was 31 years ago. My friend told her what she could do with her university degree and where she could shove it. LOL

From what I have heard attitudes towards disabled people haven't improved much. But then they haven't improved a lot in the Westernized world either. Seventy per cent of disabled people are still underemployed or unemployed despite their credentials and the stats haven't changed that much in 30 years.

Our lot is slightly better but not much, it's just recently that people don't stop and stare at someone using a wheelchair or cane or a white cane.

Disabled people are still pretty much treated as invisible and the one minority everyone feels they can treat badly and not be penalized for it.

Polar Bear I don't know what province you are from but each province has its' own criteria. It may take awhile but you are either covered by CPP disability or a provincial plan. If you don't know which call your local mla or mpp or your federal MP and they will find you the links and or information.

Don't diss Canada , they do a better job than many other places.

India and Pakistan. Both have predominant religions that believe that disability is a punishment for wrong doing. A parent may be punished by having a disabled child. A disabled child bring a family shame in ways people in Western countries can't imagine.

Tech: Africa is not a country - it is a continent made up of 47 different countries. Some of those countries actually are very good to their residents with disabilities. Others are as bad as Pakistan and India.
