Specialists depending on the condition so opthamologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, psychiatrists, psychologist, special education teachers, vocational rehab workers, social workers, personal support workers, pedatric nurses, massage therapists, occupational therapists, rehab therapists, equine therapists, genral practioners aka family doctors, social service caseworkers, independent living center workers, personal advocates, music therapists, art therapists, yoga teachers.

The best source is your local Department of Human Services. They have long lists of people and organizations who help with disabilities. That can be done on line, by phone, or in person.

There are hundreds of different kinds of occupations. It depends on what you enjoy doing, if you are willing to get trained, go to college, and how much you want to be paid.

Paraprofessional/ teacher aide, Direct care worker in a group home, Job Coach, Club House aide

Special Education teacher, social worker
Occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech therapist,

Physiatrist, Educational psychologist, Developmental pediatrician

Mobility specialist, Assistive technology specialist, Independent living specialist
