Do senior citizens drawing social security benefits get any of the giveaway checks

that are going to the young Also both of the ones on ss are both disabled and can't work. One is under 65 and can't get medicare and has to pay around 650 dollars a month for health insurance so any news on the recession checks going to everybody or what would be greatfly appreciated.

If you earn at least $3000 on disability for 2007 you can file a tax return and will be considered for the tax rebate. An individual can get back $300 if they are on SS or SSD. If a person is continuously on disability for 24 months they will automatically qualify for Medicare but you have to apply for it. If their income and assets are low they may also qualify for Medicaid or extra help with their Part B premium.

The only way you would get one of those checks is if you file income tax!

I do not know. But I understand government well. Particularly when it comes to Social Security. When I retired the SSA deducted two thirds (2/3!) of my allowance. Why? Because I was school teacher and was considered highly paid! If I heard that in a comedy routine I would slap thigh and roar with laughter. But it is true, trust me.
