Is the cheerleading culture the cause of so much sheep-like behavior in American...

...society? Almost every American high school has cheerleaders. The rest of the school is encouraged to cheer for their guys against the other guys.

Rah rah rah, sis boom bah, we're the best, so ha ha ha.

Has the cheerleading culture blinded Americans to the fact that many other Western democratic nations are appalled at the view of the world held by some Americans?

Has the cheerleading culture stopped Americans from caring how they are perceived, even by their allies?

Has the cheerleading culture caused Americans to stop thinking for themselves?

Example: A Saudi Arabian living in Afghanistan bombs an important American business site, tragically killing thousands of innocents. The reaction is to beat the crap out of innocent Iraqis for nearly five years. Did anyone stop to think about the logic of this? Or did Americans just cheer on their president when he said it was a good idea?

***FOR the soldiers doing their duty, AGAINST the oil barons who chose to send them there.*

I dont think so...millions of us are very much aware of what is thought of us as a nation and as of right now we have to suck it up and somehow get out of this mess we got ourselves into.

Anyhow, No one cheered anyone, anywhere...when 911 happened (you are referring to 911 right?) the American people was pissed and outraged and we wanted to see the culprits brought to justice..hence afghanistan...

whom btw were the ones that I remembered cheering along with the rest of the ARAB WORLD..whom was cheering with happiness ALLAHU AKBAR THE GREAT SATAN HAS BEEN DEFEATED... its so funny cheerleaders in a chador..lol..
Point #2 I didnt agree, nor I agree now with Iraq after all my husband is out there right now (10 months and counting) those people are not worth it and never were...sometimes I think they deserved Saddam and his sons, whom btw gassed them and tortured thousands of his own citizens with little criticism from the international community. Now they are fighting amongst themselves and blowing themselves up with a little help from Iran and Saudi.

Finally, The reason we went in Iraq was because of the false info given to us by bush, at the time people were scared and very very pissed.
