Several of us had to close emails at times because of the mean and nasty ones. That does not make us mean and nasty, just smart.

I beg to differ with your judgment . . .
It's too general to be accurate -
AND
unnecessarily argumentative!
Have a nice day, anyway . . .

Lona, I've gone to thank question posters for best answer and seen apologies for having to block email access, done to prevent ugly emails.

You are so wrong about that & you are judging all of us who don't allow e-mails or IM's, without even knowing why. I think that's very unfair. I learned from some really nice people here, who were getting nasty & threatening e-mails because a certain few didn't like their answers to their questions. I decided that I didn't need that in my life, so I don't allow IM's or E-mails. Think what you want, I really don't care.

That's not entirely true. So many nice people on this site have received very nasty emails so they blocked them. Mine is still allowed. I don't care if they send me nasty emails. I would just laugh. I get a few jokes everyday from various friends. I would consider it another joke!

Nope-- email is a preference, I don't judge others desires.

It takes all types to make the world go around. But you have a choice/option to reply or not reply or to ignore.

I have not particularly noticed. It is after all a matter of choice how you want to use this site.
