Do you know a nice place to dance salsa and/or tango in London?

Hi everybody! I'm from Italy and I'm trying to steal a YES from my boyfriend about going to London a few days at the end of this month. I'd like to take him dance a bit of salsa and/or tango. Do you know any nice place? Not expensive and within reach of a bus o tube. I don't care abou fashion people, they can also be aged (we're 33), I just care about the music. Thanks a lot!!!

There are loads of salsa clubs in town -- one I really love is Bar Salsa, on the Charing Cross Road: it attracts all kinds of ages and people, and it's not at all expensive (even on Saturdays entry's a sliding rate starting from £2 between 7 and 8pm, rising to £10 after 11pm. -- go early on a midweek night and I think it's free).

Beginners' classes are sometimes free, too (this Friday, for example) but I've only been to the Saturday classes which are huge fun and cost £5 for one hour or £8 for two hours.
There's a bar (of course) and a restaurant.

Here's their website: http://www.barsalsa.info/
and address: 96 Charing Cross Road
London, WC2H 0JG
Tel: 020 7379 3277

Hope you have fun... and good luck with that 'Yes'!
=D
