Competitive Dancers: What do you think of creepy dances?

When I was little, I hated creepy dances and my friends and I always left the theater. Last year my friend's studio did a tap dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller. We were all like... cool! This dance is scary and entertaining, but we're finally not scared! Then, this year my studio did a tap dance called "Escape" where they were escaping a mental place and it was just creepy and surreal! I realised that 'scary' dances like thriller aren't as scary as surreal and eery dances like Escape. However, even though they scare little kids, now I love those dances! They're interesting every time you watch them and they always do well in competitions. What do you think of them? Do you like them or not? Why? Have you ever been in one and what was it like (I swear I won't copy it)? Also, does anyone have any ideas for one? Thanks! Bye!

I think they're more interesting than the classic fake smile and false energy that dancers think they have to have at competitions.
