What are people thoughts?!? as a guy i would never respect a girl who pole danced for money. if you learn how to lapdance or something for the bedroom then it's sexy, but if you do it professionally it would only make me think you are trashy and i would worry about guys hitting on you the whole time.

What are people thoughts?!? modeling and pole dancing?well pole dancing makes me think of strippers..& modeling; you have to think you are gorgeous to just sit there makeing faces while someone snaps 23785 pictures of you, lol. but i like modeling, runway, stuff like that. looks fun, you just have to love yourself and think your the sh*t to be good at it haha

What are people thoughts?!? Actually pole dancing is considered an excellent excersise...mind you it may damage your reputation as that is usually associated with stripping and such. And modeling...I say go for it girl! Work it!

What are people thoughts?!? As a mum and granny I would be desperately upset if any of my family did this. I just see it as women treating themselves like pieces of meat for the titillation of men. I have seen many changes in society through from the 1950s when women were definitely second class citizens, to the 1960s and beyond, when feminists fought for equality. I think that we have tried to be like men instead of seeking to be treated equally to them. You may think I am just old fashioned but my body is mine and only to be shared with a partner.

What are people thoughts?!? In the April edition of slimming world magazine, there is an article about a young woman, who has taken up pole dancing as part of her new lifestlye. (It may be the May June issue. Not sure. You should be able to find it in any local supermarket) She has had an amazing weight loss and looks fab. The pole dancing also provides a really good workout which has proven to be a great form of excersise. I think, If you feel confident and think this is the way to go, then go for it girl. It needn't be seedy as some previous posters have said and could be a good way to earn some extra cash. It's just dancing at the end of the day. Have fun. As for the latter part of your question, I am far too old, at 41 to be doing that stuff. I'd probably get stuck up the pole when my back gives out. lol.

What are people thoughts?!? is a honest answer that you don't like horrible?pole dancing has still that reputation if being a platform for prostitutes to find the clients. may be true or not.not a profession for a decent girl in most people's eyes.modelling...if you're about 6 feet tall and slim to skinny - try. but there's such a lot of concurrence, you may not be succesful.you want glamour?go into event managing - get an education in acting - make up a band, if you can sing. there's a lot you can do, professionally or private.good luck anyway.

What are people thoughts?!? My thoughts are that you've had what one can only hope is a temporary lapse in sanity. If you need something to bolster your self-image, it's far better to use your brain than your body. How can you, possibly, think this would be a self-fulfilling road for you to travel? Doesn't it sound, to you, as if it's, instead, a road to self-destruction? It isn't normal behaviour to want to put yourself in the position of causing men to have erotic fantasies while you expect to remain distant - where is the "glamour" in this? How many of your male relatives, who love you, would think this to be a "plan" for your future which is acceptable and within the bounds of decency? Wouldn't it be a sorry state of affairs to meet a young man you are, sincerely, interested in and tell his parents your "career" is being a pole dancer? After 911 is called, to bring his mother to the hospital, I don't think you would be seeing him again. If possible, the wise thing for you to do would be to move back home with your parent(s) and investigate the possibility of taking a career aptitude test at the local high school. Beauty fades but a trashed reputation doesn't and an education is something no-one can take from you.
