What do i wear to a dance when the theme is rave?

Dancing From Ballet to Hip Hop, competitive to Irish Step Dancing. Everyone loves to dance, even when noone is looking ;)

What do i wear to a dance when the theme is rave?

My school is having their Morp dance on March 15 and the theme is Rave. What should my date and I wear?? How should I do my hair and makeup? Im not even exactly sure what rave is and I keep typing it in on the internet and its not being specific about it. I was told its like bright colors and glow in the dark stuff. Is that right? Please help me! Thanks!!!
