Can I become a dance teacher?

I'm 16 years old. I did dance when I was 3 until 6, but then I went into gymnastics and then soccer and then cheerleading. I've been dancing now for one year. I really like it! I've decided I want to teach dance as a career. I would like to teach little kids (ages 5-10) or something. I would also like to become an elementary teacher. A lot of people tell me I have an act for teaching little kids. So my question is: Is it to late (since I'm 16) to go and pursue my dream by becoming a dance teacher? If not, what schools are the best to become a dance teacher and elementary teacher? Do you have to try out before getting into that school? Well, thank you so much for helping me.
Oh, and I'm going to a dance camp this summer to get a lot better. =D Thanks again!

You can be anyhting you want to be. It sounds like your on the right track too...going to camp and all. Just don't get lazy and you'll get precisecly what you want....ask God too...he'd like to help.

It is defintely not too late! My friend is a gorgeous dancer and she is 16 and she teaches at our local YMCA. Go For It!
