HELP!!Desperately need dance track title/artist from 96 0r 98..?

all I know is 1st line goes 'here I am standing in the shadow of love...knocking on the door with a velvet glove...looking thru the window of loneliness.....(missed line) I dont wanna feel this way anymore...gotta find the key that'll open the door...(then chorus) standin here all night long......waitin for my lover to caaaaall...then bangin tune kicks in. (Played in TinTins for those that remember the good ol' dayz!!!)
