Try thrift shops or vintage clothing stores. Depending on how much time you have, there are copies of vintage dress patterns in almost every major pattern catalogue (ie McCall's, Simplicity, etc. ) Or you can do an online search for period clothing. Good luck, it's not too difficult a style to sew.
