how do u make 4 sims dance on The Sims 2 on ps2?

i have this game on PLAYSTATION 2. NOT on my computer. so this means i can't "click" on the sim i want to dance with. so how do u throw a party on PLAYSTATION 2?

right after u call the other sims 4 a party how long does it take for them to arrive? please give me an answer in good detail.
