Please write on paragraph for this word Contrast Showing how you would incorporate this principle of Compostion when you create a choreograph a dance.

Contrast: Diversity of color, emotion, tone, that is used to intensify experience:keep the dance from becoming monotonous.

Thank you so much!!
Thank you

thisbrit has a spectacular aura about
Dance choreography is much like writing a piece of poetry or a short novel - there must be a beginning, middle and end.

There must be a thesis statement too.

Contrast is used in literature to awaken the reader to opposites. Likewise in a dance there must be contrasts:
fast moves versus slow moves, high up movements and ground level movements. There should also be twisty, curly intense moves contrasted with floating straight movements.

If the dance is dramatic, these contrasts will be easily integrated into the music. Ithe dance composition is lyrical (no story line) then the contrasts must be exhibited for the audience as a study in opposites. the music should have contrasts within it too - loud vs quiet, fast versus slow.

Hope this helps.
