who would be a great running mate for the democratic party?

i think obama and powell. powell gives a damn about the military and can give feasible solution to getting our troops out of iraq without being there for at least one hundred years (thanx mccain). your thoughts?
i don't think powell is a republican anymore, bush killed the party for him. but i believe he is a strong independent. but clark is a great choice too.
