| What will be the effect of a close race on the Democratic party? As of May 1, Ralph Nader is polling at 5%. That is likely a wider margin than the ultimate general election margin of victory/defeat. Political ignoramus believe Nader's impact is "unpredictable" or "hurts both major candidates". When in actuality 99% of Nader's vote would otherwise go Dem. Thus, so long as Nader support runs at even 1%, he can be huge (i.e. decisive, Dem-killer) factor. Run Ralphie! Run!! APRIL 1....Not MAY 1...Sorry!      |

| It is only bad for the democratic party if obama gets the nomination. He has no chance of winning and we will all lose. McCain will keep the war going, nominate judges like alito and make the bush tax cuts permanent while we go more in debt to foreign countries every day. It is the path to making the U.S. a third world country. Democrats need to support Hillary. She can win. |
