How many of the 2008 Democratic Party superdelegates are Black/African-American?

Please provide a verifiable source for your answer.

No exact number, but keep in mind many of the Super Delegates are or at one time elected officials: Governors, State Senators, Federal Senators, Mayors, Congressmen etc...

Does it matter...why put people in groups of race.....D@mn political correctness. The word American works just fine. The super dupers think that know better than the average American....so I would not put too much hope in the super dupers b/c they don't care what you think!!!!!

That is why Republicans do not have super dupers.....Republicans and Conservatives win when they reach the magic number!!!!!

I do not see why this is a concern to anyone. Though it seems that black voters seem to be voting on the basis of race and not qualification, the number of black superdelegates has no effect on the overall election. Black Americans only make up about 13% of the total population of the country, so, compared to white and latino voters, both of which have much larger national populations, blacks are not as powerful a voting block to control the outcome of an election as the news would make you believe.
