| Why is the Democratic party being ruined by a corrupt system that disreguards...
...the American voter? I'm a Republican, by the way. But even I see what is happening. The American people who voted in Michigan, Florida, and Texas clearly wanted Hillary. But the corrupt DNC stole all of hillary's delagates, and just gave them to Obama. Doesn't the DNC realize that if they go against the will of the American people, they will LOSE in November? If they don't pick the candidate that America wants (Hillary), all of Hillary's supporters will vote for McCain in November. Of course I like that, since I 'm a REpublican and I vote for McCain anyway, but even I have to admit that it isn't fair to the majority of Democrats, since they mostly voted for Hillary and their votes were disreguarded.

The one true honest answer is power and control over government programs as well as the nominee. They didn't just like leaving it up to the people pre-1982, so in '82 Mondale's campaign manager, Bob Beckel, helped create the current system including "Superdelegates". Obama is ahead in both pledged delegates and the popular vote - even if you count Michigan and Florida. Once he wins in North Carolina, it's all over for Hillary (thankfully - I didn't think a majority of Americans were dumb enough to vote for Bill, and Hillary is even more socialist).

The Democratic party in this election has made it clear from the start. they favored obama. I think all America has seen this. take play. Hillary I agree, has made some blunders. But I would take her blunders any day over Obama deceit. we know nothing of this man ,and what we do know is not good. But yet, he is still being pushed on by the big time Democrats. and this is even more scary, than obama's past. I am so glad America has the finial say in November. |

I don't understand what you mean by the democratic party being "ruined" by a corrupt system - you seem to be under the impression that it has ever been something else. Forget about Florida and Michigan and take a look at the fact that the party insiders and political bosses called "superdelegates" have 1,000 more power in the process than the average voter. In a close election like this, they collectively have the power of disenfranchising ALL 50 STATES with their votes! If that isn't corrupt elitism, I don't know what is. I am glad to see that, for once, the democrats won't be able to (wrongly) accuse Republicans for their catastrophic failures. |
