Why do so many people in the Democratic party hold fundamental doubts about the

electability of Obama? It looks like if the Democrats--that is the Democratic higher-ups--are hell bent on giving the nomination to Obama, they will be shooting themselves in the foot by pushing a guy who many believe--rightly or wrongly--is fundamentally flawed and should not represent the Democratic party. The biggest problem for Obama is his radical past and the perception, which is not totally misplaced, of his anti-Americanism. This is coming not from the far right, but from many people in the Democratic party. He is so far left and his values are so out of line with most decent Americans that many of us democrats will have no choice but to cross over and vote for McCain. It is really that bad. Too bad. This should have been the year for Democrats, but not with Obama propped up as the putative leader of the party.

I think that Democrats have underestimated the amount of antipathy that Obama has generated for himself. This has happened by his own choices and statements. He clings to his church's front page policy of "unabashedly pro-black" which disenfranchises a great majority of Americans.

There are many people who will come out to vote for McCain merely because they are voting against Obama. He has actually replaced Clinton as the most despised Democrat candidate in recent history.
A few Democratic public figures have tried to compare Obama to JFK. But Obama is not worthy to even be compared to JFK. That's like trying to compare a little sleasy stripper to marilyn Monroe.

This "so many" is surely not the majority of Dems. At least not to this point anyway is it?

Obama has won more pledged delegates, is ahead in the popular vote, and has won more Democratic states (primaries/caucuses) then Billary. These folks obviously don't hold any fundamental doubts about Obama or they would of voted for Billary.

It's Billary that people have fundamental doubts about. Otherwise they'd of voted for her!!

Obama has no electablity for several reasons.

Ties to Anti Americans.
Voting Record as Senator
Experience
He can't win big states.
He is behind in Super Delegates
Clinton has passed him in popular vote.
How many more reasons does anyone need for him to be unelectable.
