...really are: Socialists.? They are all for big government, redistribution of wealth, SOCIALIZED medicine, the list goes on and on and ON yet they still claim they hold to the values of the founders of this country. The values they truely hold to are those of Mussolini, Hitler, and Stalin. Democrats? Hardly. A Socialist by any other name is still a Socialist.
EDIT* for those of you that can't read. It says that modern Democrats hold to the VALUES of Stalin Mussolini and Hitler, of course Hitler and Mussolini were Fascists. Fascism and socialism hold many of the same tennets. Take a political science class

Jas G: Not name calling, an honest question. The policies of most democrats today (at least those running for, or already in office) are very socailist (or if you prefer fascist) in nature. I'm not saying socialism is bad (in theory it's great). I'm asking why they don't call themselves what they really are? Answer?

You are correct. Many Democrats are essentially socialists; however, there are many who are not. They are more to the center rather than all the way to the left. Obama is too far to the left for my belief and Hillary is left-right-left-middle....who knows? She doesn't. McCain is right and middle.

Hitler was no socialist. He was a Facist. And the truth is that a Republican is a watered-down Facist.

Same is true of Mussolini.

Stalin was a Socialist.

Democrats are watered-down Socialists/Communists.


You must remember that Republicans favor one side of the center, Democrats the other; but both are very, very moderate compared to the Facism of the far right and the Communism of the far left.

Quit with the name calling, and act like you have some sense. If the other side does the same thing, maybe we can get something properly done...

Maybe you should take a political science course. I will say that what occurred in the Soviet Union under Stalin was similar to Facism. But that is because it wasn't following the tenets of Communism; not because Communism and Facism are similar.

They are nowhere close to each other in beliefs.

You have it EXACTLY backwards. The people you named were fascists, NOT socialists. And the party that most closely replicates them is the Republikin party.
