By letting the primary play out fairly. If anyone feels cheated, we stand the chance to lose to McCain in the fall. That's why it's important for MI and FL to hold a revote and for superdelegates to vote in accordance with their constituencies. No one will be able to cry foul and we can unite to go after the republicans.

I think once we get a candidate we will point our battle guns at McCain and he will be destroyed. This is why the republicans love this. When it comes down to it people are fed up with the republican party, the majority anyway.

I know this sounds like a poor attempt at humor, but I am serious with this answer.

1) Get rid of Howard Dean.
2) Lose Hillary and Barack, and get a candidate that the people can get behind. Stop getting candidates that are supported by only the leadership of the DNC.
3) Get away for the ultra-left wing base that is fast becoming the whole Democratic Party. There are many conservatives out there who would vote Democrat, if there was a candidate that represented their views.
4) Don't discredit my answer to this point, because it is not what you want to hear. This is the largest problem the Democratic Party has today.
5) The Democratic Party needs to remember there is more to this country than New England and the West Coast.

it's a tough call at this point. one or the other candidate COULD drop out graciously and offer to help the other get elected, but that's not very likely. i can't see this shaking out in a way that doesn't leave a lot of people angry. i do plan on voting for whoever does get the nomination, whether or not it is the candidate i prefer.
