About the current hard feelings in the Democratic Party...do you think people...

...will cool off by November? And vote for the opposing candidate? There have been other races like this one and the remaining candidate historically loses to the Republican candidate....so what do you think?

A quote---"Many express concern but argue that the divisions are not nearly as intense as when the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago was split over the Vietnam War; when Ronald Reagan unsuccessfully fought President Ford for the Republican nomination in 1976; or when Sen. Edward Kennedy lost a bitter duel with President Carter to be the 1980 Democratic nominee. In each case, those parties' nominees lost the general election. "

If Obama doesn't get the nomination after winning the most delegates the party will be tron apart. As it should be. But then again blacks are such cool aid drinkers Al and Jesse might still tell them to vote for Hillary........

Books will be written about this election. Obama and Clinton have spent a half billion dollars on this campaign which has been running for 15 months. As Obama says, " Children were born and are now walking and we are still on the campaign trail". In addition to the mini dramas, there's the MI and FL scenario. (Florida again... who would have thought it?)

Yes.. I do believe there will be hard feelings in November because there is more drama to unfold. One of these candidates will have to step down in May and many people will be very upset. The DNC will lose voters either way. Some won't vote at all... others will go to McCain. It's a win/win situation for John.

I don't believe so. The "Race Card" is now in play and it's going to be hard to convince minorities that it's best for the party if Hillary does get nominated.
Liberals have varied agendas that sometimes conflict. They keep promising everything to everyone and don't even ask themselves if there is a problem. They have the habit of promising more in the pot with one hand and taxing it away with the other.
It's going to be interesting to see if the unrest that's already there boils over.
I just can't understand why a party that wants the White House so bad goes to the far left to get their candidates. They took control of the House and Senate by electing "Red Dogs". Why not stay in the center now?
That's easy to answer. The Democrat Party no longer represents the working person. It represents the Socialist agenda and if they get the White House, we'll all suffer equally as we did with Comrade Carter.

If Democrats remember 1980, Ted Kennedy fought Jimmy Carter to the convention and Reagan won in a landslide. That fight pretty much endorsed Reagan anyway. I think a large percentage of Hillary voters would defect and vote McCain or Nader as a protest to Obama. Polls show that she beats McCain, but Obama and McCain are tied. Hillary is the logical choice and I've said it all along. Obama is a pretender.

The real fun will be at the DNC convention.

A word of advice to BHO don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
