I vote for the man/woman, not the party. There are some liberal Republicans (like Giuliani) and some conservative Democrats. That's like all these people who are voting for Obama just because he's black. It's ridiculous. You look back in history and there were some damn good Democrats and some really crappy Republicans, and vice versa. I could run for President as a Republican and say I am going to raise taxes, abolish the military, ban weapons, etc. Traditionally, Democrats do these things (or try to). I'd be totally out of line with my party, so obviously you should not vote for me just because of my party.This year, I will vote for a Republican, because it is in the best interest of our nation. At least, as far as security, taxes, and other things that matter (unlike race).
