Is the democratic party democratic? with 796 super delegates.?

With these super delegates your vote dosen't count for hardly any thing in the selection of who the canadate is.The party has already selected who is going to run, by eliminating others.

Of course they've eliminated others. The party decides who they will endorse, but anyone can still run for president without a party endorsement. Independents and Republicans are skewing the votes. Different rules for different states at different times...how is that supposed to be "democratic?" There's no way it's even close to being "democratic." We should seriously think about changing our procedures, especially with the media, money, and bogus polls steering the election. The Republican side is even worse because they do winner-take-all with states.

Of course not. Even the so-called "pledged delegates" that you supposedly "voted" for in primaries and caucuses are hand picked by the party officials and put on delegate slates. They have to fit profiles according to diversity standards, i.e., certain numbers of women, blacks, latinos, native american, disabled, etc.
They are only bound to vote the way that your votes determined through the first round of voting at the convention. After that, if nobody is nominated, they are released from following the outcome of your election and can vote any way they want. That's when the wheeling and dealing start.
The Super Delegates are the least of the problem.
Don't Democrats know this? Did you think it was fair?
