Should the Democratic party send a thank you card to Bush for setting up Obama or...

...Hillary to be the next pres? He was on top of the world when he sent troops into Afghanistan after bin Laden. Then he took his eye off the ball and invaded Iraq (certainly a bad dictatorship but only one of many). Now his approval rating is horrible, he hasn't protected the border, and Republicans are not showing up at the polls.

Is it Bush's fault?

No, the thank you card should be from the DNC to the RNC for having McCain as the nominee. There is no way McCain will win. Whoever is the Dem candidate will win. I'm a Republican and I don't know any that are even going to vote and if they do, they will vote for Obama.

Obama for president is not bad, actually it's the postive turning point for our country.

Bush should hang his head in shame. Saddam was happy and content to screw his own people. True I wouldn't want to be an Iraqi.
Bush screwed himself with his poor leadership and sense of economics. Permanent tax cuts? Expensive military hardware purchases with no money? Global warming does not exist?
Browbeating those who proved it does?
He's a moron who should just disappear

I think Bush's abysmal administration played a role in catapulting the current democratic contenders to prominence. Most people want out of the war, the republicans on the other hand want to stay in Iraq.
