| Why doesnt Hillary do what's right for the Democratic Party?
Clinton's strategist Mark Penn said before "... It is voters and delegates who matter." So, in this current situation why doesnt Hillary concede, and let Obama (Winning by Popular vote) to run against McCain. Is this really more of a personal thing (for herself) instead of for the public (especially with her behavior in the last two weeks)? |

because her foolish pride and her mega-ego and her arrogance won't allow her to do that. she netted a total of 16 delegates with her "big wins." she can't catch obama. so rather than do what's best for the democratic party, she'd rather continue to divide the party and hurt obama's chance of winning in november. it's as if she's trying to force the powers that be in the democratic party to give her the nomination or else. or else she'll bring all this mess to the convention and cause more chaos. or else she'll start a big stink over the michigan and florida delegates being reinstated, even though she signed an agreement about their punishment. or else she'll do dirty politicking as usual and smear the frontrunner as much as she can. or else she'll go around hinting at a shared ticket with obama, provided she's the presidential nominee, although she doesn't have the most popular votes nor does she have the most pledged delegates. enough already. it's really disgusting. |

It may be best for the party if Obama withdraws. Pretending that this is a general election, Hillary has 236 electoral votes to Obama's 195 electoral votes. She may be the stronger candidate in the general election. Obama is too far left and too inexperienced and the Republicans will beat him down on these two topics. The will of the people may be for Clinton. The will of the press may be for Obama as he has received far more press coverage than any other candidate. This has translated into more votes and more contributions. Given the press interference with the election, it is impossible to determine the actual will of the people. Since the votes are nearly evenly divided, it may be that the super delegates will dictate that both candidates be on the ticket.
