To be fair to Governor Dean, no one expected Senator Obama to still be in the race at this point. Now I think it would be a big mistake to disenfranchise voters in those states. We should just take the primary results we got, allocate the undecided votes in Michigan among Obama, Edwards, and Richardson, and seat their delegates. There is no reason to spend money on a re-vote. But James Carville has said that if it is found to be necessary, the Clinton campaign will pledge $15 million to fund such a re-vote.

This is VERY TRUE. I think the best way to look like a strong party is for BOTH candidates contribute their campaign money for an appropriate "RE-DO". They have spent over $209,000.00 on entertaining the SUPER DELEGATES!! And that was the amount shown a month ago. God only knows what it is up to now. In any case, they SHOULD present themselves very professionally and both donate to the citizens and say "I want to hear from every single voter!! Let's do this again. Here is the date for the redo!!" |
