Will Hillary Clinton kill the democratic party's chances of beating McCain?

While I admire the idea of a women being president much as a black president, Hillary appears to be insulting Obama left and right while Obama has said little about Clinton beside that she is playing cover-up about how she has gotten her funding (IE by helping pardon rich criminals).

The question is this: will the fact Clinton has nailed Obama, based on "what will happen" ordeals rather than facts, down to the level of a "barely passing" presidential candidate.
And, as an aftermath, will Obama or Hillary just barely squeak by each other as the presidential representative of their party all while McCain sweeps by their increasingly competition-tarnished reputations?

On the contrary, what should Obama and/or Hillary do to avoid ruining their party's reputation as a whole and "battle constructively"?

You are absolutely delusional if you think the GOP will give Obama a free ride in the General election. He will be crucified when he still refuses to REJECT NATION of ISLAM,
to the general public. Louis Farrakhan will be in every Republican ad.
Why cant he do what is right for the party and accept the VP position?
If he does not, John McCain will have this country even more screwed up, it will be worse than a Bush third term

I don't know why these Republican idiots think Obama and Hillary both have NO CHANCE of beating McCain. Polls show that both would beat McCain by a significant percentage. The Democratic election has seemed nasty because it's so competitive since both candidates are very strong.

Sad to say I think she will. Obama has been a very pleasant candidate and has views that encourage us young votes in a way that we have not been encouraged before!

No but Obama will.
He's the junior campaigner and should back off and accept the VP job.
He'll lose against McCain in debates, and the election.
Clinton-obama is the way to go
