Why is the Democratic party so divided and the Republican party (my choice) seems...

...to be together?
John S. I am being open mind all of this mud slidding doesn't make since in the dem. party. stick to the people and the policies... it's very tacky and we don't need that right now in the USA

The key word you used is "seems". When the going gets tough the Democrats come together like Superglue. The republicans on the other hand fall apart like sand through an hourglass.

Because the Mitt Romney got paid off to give it to McCain. So much for being a Mormon.

Republicans tend to support their nominee, even if they are not 100% satisfied.
The Dems will blow it again with all their party splitting, 'back-biting'.

I, for one, do not believe the Republican party is so called "together". I will NOT support McCain unless he picks a VP that is for strict and strong enforcement of illegal immigration, and also a VP who will promote the freedoms, liberties, and national sovereignty of THIS COUNTRY. I would rather do a "write in" with the candidates we have running at the moment!!!!!!! WAKE UP AMERICA.

It's obvious. You're looking at it from one side. Your not being open about it at all. Look at it from both sides. Take the current bid for presidency.

Republicans - At first they didn't have it all together at the beginning. Slowly people starting seeing Mitt for who he really is. Then there was Huckabee. I mean come on. They were all idiots. The only real choice was McCain. However you have to ask yourselves, can he win?

Democrats - They have come down to two very strong candidates. That is why republicans are afraid of them. Democrats know they are both very strong and that is why they are divided. It will come down to just one of them, then all Democrats will unite. That is how they took over Congress, that is how they took over The House and that is how they will win in November.

Because the republican party consists of one person and 3 remaining supporters, you, Saudi prince bandar and president bush. John McCain has already stated he is voting for Obama or Clinton. Its hard to divide 3 people.
