Democratic Party before November? Will John McCain win the general election by getting enough like-minded Democrats like myself to crossover and vote for McCain in spite, if Hillary is not the nominee.

The White vote in "many" states is going for Hillary.
The black vote in "all" states is going for Barack.
This Hispanic vote will go over 3 to 1 for McCain if Hillary is not the nominee.

To think if they even know who is black and who is white-female in these elections is not reality. The people that poll are not relative numbers and just a few thousand at best are in most of the polling. Blacks and White Women in the larger numbers have been voting for Obama all along.

I have a large family in Virginia. My mom, five sisters, 12 nieces, and 16 great nieces. During the primary every one of them voted for Hillary and say they will vote for her in the general election. But if HRC isn't the dem's nominee they will be voting for McCain. This may be a small number of women who crossed over for Hillary, but I think there's a whole lot more like them. So no I do not think the HRC's voters will necessarily fall in line behind Obama.
